We are hiring! Put W&R Plastics further on the map as a preferred partner for all masterbatch solutions within the…
Carbon black absorbs infrared light. For this reason identification of plastic waste containing carbon black via optical sensors is impossible. The result is that non-detected black and highly opaque coloured plastic waste is going to the landfill or incineration.
W&R understands this issue and has developed N.I.R.-detectable and sortable colour-masterbatch solutions.
Through the use of specific pigment formulations, free of carbon black, the N.I.R. detectable masterbatches are made.
In this way your endproduct can be made suitable for the right way of recycling and sorting.
With our range of N.I.R.-detectable masterbatches we are creating a big step forward in one of our core values which is environmental sustainability and circularity.
We are able to offer you our “off the shelf” standard-range N.I.R-detectable masterbatches.
